Edith Nourse Rogers (March 19, 1881 – September 10, 1960) was an American social welfare volunteer and politician who served in the United States Congress. She was the first woman elected to Congress from Massachusetts. Born in Saco, Maine, her parents' affluence allowed Edith Nourse to be privately tutored until she was fourteen.
